Luminescent Composite on the Basis of Polyolefines and Fluorine-Containing Polymers

Description

A luminescent composite is obtained by mechanical bias of polymer powders and binary sulphide compounds (CdSZnS) with a further thermal pressing at fusion temperature of polymer matrix. The content of the filling compound in the composite is 10-30 volume percent in dependence with the designation.

Innovative Aspect and Main Advantages

The proposed method allows obtaining a thin luminescent composite film. The composite has a series of advantages:

  • improved mechanical properties;
  • a possibility of obtaining composites in any sizes;
  • a simplicity of the technology;
  • a possibility of using the equipments for polymer processing.

Areas of Application

Photo-electronics, optoelectronics, transport, the products of advertising industry, and others.
