Method of geodetic parameters determination and device for its realization

Description

A method based on measurement of deviation of electromagnetic signal's frequency under the influence of the gravitational field is used for achievement of completely autonomous solution of a geodetic task (determination of navigation parameters and all components of the gravitational field in any point of the space and Earth surface), for increase of accuracy of the results by way of exclusion of external factors' impact.

Parameters of the signal received from three sources of electromagnetic radiation (as a minimum) are determined by additional navigation receivers which are placed in pairs on different axes, and frequency meters.

Displacement of frequency of the received signal under the influence of the gravitational field is determined by a frequency comparator; data from frequency meters go to the comparator's entry. A value of free fall acceleration is determined in a computing device basing on the data obtained; that value is transmitted to a device for mapping the geodetic information.

The invention can be used in:

  • geodesy, cartography;
  • monitoring of emergency situations (seismic activity, volcanic activity, floods);
  • search of mineral resources.
