Industrial-oriented platinum products and platinum-based alloys, such as stream feeder assemblies and glass-melting units, are used to make glass and basalt fibers in the course of production of heat-insulating materials and fabrics. The high quality of the product is attributed to the complete closed production cycle, which is run at the enterprise to cover the whole production process from raw materials refining stage to the stage of acceptance of finished products. Each stage of production provides for materials elemental composition control carried out at the laboratory, which is furnished with "TN Spectrace" and "TJA" US analytical equipment.

Single crystal growing crucibles and laboratory ware are both produced of a standard range and according to individual drawings, involving the use of continuous drawing and stamping processes, as well as welding processes when producing thicker-wall products.

Platinum temperature sensors are designed as 30-?m-thick platinum-wire spirals accommodated within dielectric enclosures. The sensors are connected to measuring equipment by means of copper current leads brought out from the sensors.
