Vacuum magneto-dynamic device for semicontinuous casting of ingot bars from aluminum alloys has been created

Destination of device:

  • Preparation of alloys with the melting of alloying components and simultaneous electromagnetic mixing of alloy;
  • Heating and thermostating of liquid alloy with its electromagnetic mixing;
  • Vacuum refining of liquid alloy with its electromagnetic mixing;
  • Modifying of alloy with its electromagnetic mixing;
  • Filtration of liquid alloy through porous ceramic filter;
  • Regulated program electromagnetic pouring out of liquid alloy into low crystallizer with heat nozzle;
  • Regulated control of casting velocity;
  • Thermostating of liquid alloy in time of pouring of ingot bar into crystallizer;
  • Making of protective atmosphere above the surface of alloy in time of pouring of ingot bar into crystallizer.
