Description

Smart sensitive head transfers data immediately on PC. Original applications software collects data, analyzes and plots results of your measurements. No need for addition power supply and cooling - joulemeter probe is powered through the USB port on computer.

Pulse Radiation Energy Meter VEP-1 is compatible with PC-AT and newer type computer and is connected to it via USB port requiring no separate analyzing block.

Joulemeter probe includes pyroelectric sensitive element with 10 mm active area diameter. Thick-film combined absorbing coating yields spectral response from 0.2 to 12 and repetition rate from a single pulse up to 2000 pps. When a radiation pulse falls on the pyroelectric sensitive element, it generates an electric current pulse with magnitude proportional to the energy of the radiation pulse. Built-in matching amplifier, microcontroller, and central processor, together give real-time output of calculated results to PC via USB connection interface for following processing and visualization.

After completion of the needed calculations, microcontroller transfers to PC package containing information concerning pulse energy value, time span between pulses, pulse sequence number, and device status word.

The PC-compatible software records calibration data and device functioning parameters, controls device working regimes, calculates and visualizes measurement state and results (energy, average power, and measured pulses repetition rate).
