Description

For the solving problem of guided drilling tool orientation new miniature super-low power flux-gate magnetometer LEMI-011 has been developed in Lviv Center of Institute of Space Research.

Small dimensions, simple construction, low cost and a possibility of the use in different environment conditions in wide temperature range under mechanical effects, characterize this product.

The magnetometer is manufactured in two versions: monoblock (“tube” and “box” shape, sensor included) and as a built-in printed circuit board with sensor. Its peculiarity is super-low power consumption – < 15 mW.

Innovative Aspect and Main Advantages

Main advantage of this magnetometer is ten times less power consumption and small dimensions in comparison with ordinary flux-gate magnetometers. The sensitivity level and stability of this magnetometer are about hundred times better than at semiconductor devices and dozens of times better than at magnetoresistive devices.
