Sensor of valuables position


Sensor of valuables position is intended for fighting with misappropriation of valuables (money, jewelry, etc). It contains the sensor of position, alarm former and transceiver operating in UHF band.

The whole sensor is fixed onto a valuable (cash, jewelry, etc.) that must be protected from misappropriation. When it is moved in unauthorized way (for example is taken by a criminal) the valuable changes its position what actuates the sensor of position, alarm signal is formed by alarm former which translated by transceiver and antenna to any network (mobile phone, directly to police PC, etc.). Even if the criminal disappears the sensor continues to operate as a beacon that permits to indicate its position.

The performed tests permit to formulate the following parameters:

  • Power supply DC, V ––––––––––––––––––   6
  • Power consumption, W ––––––––––––––––  1.0
  • Operation temperature, °C –––––––––––––  -35 ÷ 50
  • RH, % –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––  95 %
  • Operation range ––––––––––––––––––––––  is determined by the overlapping of a mobile operator.

Innovative Aspect and Main Advantages

Innovative aspect is connected with new system concept development that combines advanced technology of microminiaturization of electronic components and principles of wireless communication to produce rather small and reliable device.

The main advantages are determined by use of existing modern communication networks (mobile phone or others) that do not require special communication system.

The sensor can be used in banks, cash desks, jewelry shops, etc., anywhere cash or valuables are in operation.

Stage of Development

Initial prototype of the sensor is at the development stage – laboratory tested. The main goal was aimed to check-up the system concept, but the task of microminiaturization was not posed this time. But modern technologies give abilities to resolve this problem at the next stages.
