Description

Developed Photovoltaic System (PVS) consists of a photovoltaic battery, energy storage systems, and electronic controls that control the charge and discharge of the stored energy. The solar battery consists of single-crystal silicon solar cells with efficiency up to 16 %. The energy storage system is completed with modern self servicing acid or alkaline accumulators. The electronic control system, which controls the charge-discharge of the storage battery, is to be produced from modern electronic components.

Innovative Aspect and Main Advantages

Unlike foreign PVS analogues, this one is intended for efficient work in the extreme conditions of hot climates with temperatures up to 80 °С and components of the system are supplied with extra margin for power.

Areas of Application

PVS may be used to supply power to households or small businesses and other consumers of energy in the form of direct and alternating current. For example, PVS can provide continuous and simultaneous work during a period of 8–10 hours for a TV set with power of 60–80 W, a satellite dish, communication tools, a refrigerator with power of 150-180 W, and 4 light-emitting diode lamps with the total power 16 W and voltage of a 12 V.

Stage of Development

Available for demonstration. Tested in field conditions. We provide warrantee service during lifetime of the system.
