Test of the Most Efficient of the Microbial Strains against Soil Pathogens in Vegetable Field Crops

It has been developed the biological control technology of plant diseases. It is based on active forms of microorganisms that are isolated from the soil and returned to the same place as preparations naturally appeared in the process of evolution. The definite strains of microbe-antagonists and stimulators, which are strong ecological factors for formation of microbial cenosis in soil rhizosphere have been revealed. They play the significant role in the vegetable growth, development and harvesting high quality product.

In the result of work conducted in Institute laboratory the new bio preparations has been studied and developed on the basis of obtaining high effective strains – antagonists to control soil pathogens that cause vegetable crop diseases.

Innovative Aspect and Main Advantages

These studies give the following opportunities:

  • to reveal and study new antagonistic pathogens;
  • to create biopreparations on the basis of high effective strains – antagonists for controlling soil pathogens causing diseases on vegetable plants;
  • to isolate new strains of pure culture of antagonist microorganisms;
  • it can be introduced and applied in farmers vegetable fields and greenhouses.

Areas of Application

Preparations can be used:

  • On vegetable plants on the field and greenhouses;
  • In the diagnosis of soil structure of microbial content.

Stage of Development

  • Laboratory tested;
  • Experimental trials on field and greenhouse plots are conducted;
  • Search for partners for further cooperation is continuing.
