Investigation in the Field of the New Crown Compounds and Polymer Based on its ”Polycrown”

Description

In the framework of joint research project (Uzbekistan-Ukraine) there have been carried out:

  • Synthesis of a new mono- and bifunctional crown ethers;
  • Synthesis of the new physiologically active compounds;
  • Investigation of the membrane active properties of monomeric crown compounds on the biological and artificial membranes;
  • New polymeric materials on the base of mono- and bifunctional crown ethers;
  • Investigation of properties of new polymeric crown compounds;
  • Research of toxicological effect of polymers: sanitarychemical and toxicology-hygienic investigations;
  • Generalization of the results, correction of routes of synthesis polymer-bonded compounds based on study of structure – property relationships of obtained materials.

Innovative Aspect and Main Advantages

  • New functionalized crown ethers;
  • New physiologically active crown-compounds;
  • Investigation of the membrane active properties of the new monomer crown compounds;
  • Investigations of properties of new monomer crown compounds, complex forming ability relatively to different kinds of metal ions and to radio-active nuclides K40 and U235;
  • Investigations of microbiological properties of new monomer crown compounds.

Areas of Application
